The village
This small village account 240 inhabitants, it is situated in the heart of the Gard, at 24 km of Uzès, 35 km from the Gard bridge and from Nîmes.
It’s a charming village overhanging the plain where La Droube, a small river, runs.
The vegetation that surround it is essentially constituted of vineyard and scrubland.
The region
From the mount Aigoual to Port Camargue, the Gard offers highly contrasted landscapes and exceptional place of interest to visit.
Nîmes the Roman, Uzès and its duchy, the Gard bridge, Anduze and its bambouseraie (bamboo plantation), the small steam train of the Cévennes, the medieval village of Vézénobres, the Camargue, Aigues Mortes and its ramparts.
To the North, not far from Martignargues, the National Reserve of the Cévennes shelters an extremely diversified patrimony, to the South the Mediterranean coast offers with the fauna and flora of the Camargue another vision of the Gard.
